"I’ve installed my CD according to the instructions, but it won’t work."
Make sure you have run the Admin program, which is the final step of installation.
"When I try to run FOLDERS, I get the error message ‘Input/output failure.’"
You need to put a CD from a CD-COM series in your CD-ROM.
"When I try to run Admin, the buttons are grayed out."
Make sure you are running Admin from the directory where you installed the CD, and not from the CD.
"When I try to print my documents, the printer won’t print them."
The file might be too large for your printer’s memory. Try printing a range of pages rather than the whole file at once. Make sure you are using a printer with the capability of printing form overlays. PCL5 is the minimum support required for printing form overlays and documents.
"When I get to the Application Menu, I get an error that says ‘Application is in use.’"
Check to make sure you are not using FOLDERS, and that particular application, on your computer.


Shortcut Installation & Administration Instructions

Installation Instructions:
  • Run "D:\INSTALL\SETUP.EXE" (where D is the CD-ROM drive)
  • Install to C:\FOLDERS directory
    Administration Instructions:
  • Run "C:\FOLDERS\ADMIN.EXE" (where C:\FOLDERS is the directory where you installed the CD)
  • Use the information from the inside cover of the CD to complete the fields.
    Application Instructions:
  • Click on the FOLDERS icon to start
  • The .exe file is located at C:\FOLDERS
